 Course Description: This course provides an introduction to the concepts and methodology of Object-Oriented Programming with Java as an illustration language. The course focuses on the object-oriented paradigm in detail with particular emphasis on classes, objects, and the use of objects in user applications. Students learn how to design classes and display the interaction of objects in visual form using the Unified Modeling Language.

    6 HWs 6% (Unique for each Section)
    2 Midterm Exams 30% (Common to all Sections) 
    4 Quizzes 6% (Unique for each Section)
    FinalExam 30% (Common to all Sections) 
    2 Projects 8% (Common to all Sections)
    Lab 20% (Common to all Sections) 

Passing Grase: 60 out of 100

 

Attendance
Attendance policy is applied as follows:
o Attendance call will be conducted only at the beginning of lecture.
o Late comers will be marked as late.
o Missing a lecture equals 1 absence.
o Being late twice equals 1 absence.
o Missing 25% of lectures will result in a “DN” grade (regardless of the nature of the excuse.)
